Hi everyone, if you saw my previous Instagram and Facebook posts you will see that I have already made a few cards using these stamp and die sets. I am really loving the sun and cloud image. Today I made even more cards using them and I have chosen two of them to show you today.
I started off with 2 card bases made from Neenah Solar White card stock 1 measuring 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2" and one measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
I stamped all of my images I wanted from the Sunnyville Stamp Set on a scrap of Neenah card stock with Lawn Fawns Black Licorice dye ink and then used Versafine Onyx Black Ink for the sentiments from the Inverted Greetings Stamp Set and then set them aside to dry.
I also took another sentiment from the Sunnyville Stamp Set and stamped it on to a piece of black card stock using WOW! Embossing Ink. I then covered this with white embossing powder and heat set it.
I then took my card base, my MFT Graduated Dots stencil and my Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts stencil along with my Tonic Nuvo Glimmer pastes in Moonstone and Pink Opal.
I taped my stencil to my work surface over my card base and using my spatula I added a thin layer of Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the Graduated Dots stencil and the did the same with the Pink Opal Glimmer Paste over the Falling Hearts stencil.
While they were drying I took my Copic markers and very simply coloured my images using only 3 pens for them all. I then took the coordinating dies from the Sunnyville Die Set and taped them over the images and ran them through my die cutting machine.
Once my card bases had dried I then took my images and placed foam tape on the back of them and then added them. I used my scissors to cut out the sentiment strip and used a stitched banner die to cut out the embossed sentiment and stuck these to the cards using foam tape.
On the inside of the heart card I also added some images and a sentiment strip. which I cut out using my scissors.
My cards are now done. I hope you like them.
Thanks for reading.
